THE 3RD
FIREHART DIGITAL ART EXHIBITION:
29 Sept – 5 October 2023

For those that missed the exhibition, have a look at a video overview below:

A stunning digital display from 6x Garden Route Digital Artists.

Many people were inspired by a variety of digital artworks, some of which came to life with 3d and video content, using Augmented Reality technology !!  and show-casing Graphic Design, Illustration, Animation, Motion Graphics.

EXHIBITION OPENING: 30 Sept 4pm
Our Exhibition Opening was a huge success, with an amazing turn-out, viewing our digital art, alongside traditional art from the Plett Art Association. One drifted among the dreamscapes of unique art pieces that kiss the eyes & the mind, while listening to one of our multi-talented digital artists, Momo (Monique Maritz) as she serenaded her sweet melodies, all original & straight from the heart, accompanied by her ukulele.

Live music & authentic art, what a treat it was !

Venue: The Plett Community Hall, Piesang Valley

Donation:
This year our exhibition donated 10% of sales to local Plettenberg Bay NPO, The People of Love

SIMONE FRANKS

Simone Franks, Durban born, has been a graphic artist manipulating design for packaging, signage, social media, web, 3D and animation content through the corporate lens. Her keen interest in the psyche within the evolution of humankind has led her on her journey to a deep study of Iyengar yoga, esoteric human design, hypnotherapy and a physical delve into community on her travels.

JANET DIXON

DieHoorn-20221122104835

Janet Dixon, as an artist, I rejoice in using whatever means of expression is available to me in order to communicate my art best. So, although I am known for my earthy, exuberant expression in authentic Karoo-inspired paintings, I am excited to include digitalization and animation of these original alcohol ink works in my portfolio.

As always, nature remains an endless source of wonder and inspiration for me, as is the human condition, which I see reflected in the microcosm and the macrocosm.
